Transforming an empty unit into an empowering retail space

The Story so far...

Roseannah is the first shop to open with the support of ReNew Sheffield funding. Rachel Salway opened Roseannah on 7th November 2015 to great success. The unit is located in Orchard Square on the balcony above Starbucks and Evans. The unit had been an empty unused shell which needed significant works. The space was turned around in just a few weeks by Rachel with new electrics, paintwork and flooring. The space has been converted into a bright, airy and smart retail space for women’s fashion and jewellery.

Roseannah is not just any fashion and jewellery store, the business is motivated by fairtrade in the fashion industry forming partnership worldwide with organisations that empower workers. Many of Roseannah’s partners work with communities in India and Africa to establish sustainable sources of income for marginalised individuals and those affected by tragedy.

Roseannah is proud to support Stop The Traffick and donates sales from special pieces to domestic abuse and trafficking survivor charities.

You can visit Roseannah by entering Orchard Square and walking up the stairs by the clock tower.
