The Sheffield Makers Shop

A colourful emporium supporting local designers and makers

The Story so far...

A Colourful Emporium of Local Makers

Sheffield Makers provides a home to a rolling cast of independent creators and designers to sell their products.

Many items are unique, handmade and independently designed and have proved a great success with visitors to the Winter Garden who enjoy the vibrancy of what’s on offer.

Sheffield Makers received £2,800 of Renew funding to help them to repair damage to the unit and install permanent fixtures and fittings. With the new features Sheffield Makers hope to be able to display products attractively and securely and also return one very long overdue dining room table.

The Sheffield Makers shop began life as a temporary 1 month Christmas pop-up in an empty unit organised by Kate Cooper. After a successful opening period and with the support of the Renew scheme Sheffield Makers have been able to stay for the long term.
